What? You don’t think we know a bull rider?? Puh-lease!! If you and your friends are crazy to enough to risk your life for those 8 glorious seconds (and we don’t mean drunk in a bar!), well then, we might as well help you prepare! We asked our bull riding friend what to wear and here is what he said:
Please note, some of this was very hard for us to write (wranglers???), but we kept every word as is and we trust him on this. Good Lord!!
“Definitely heavy starched wranglers or cinch jeans with broken in boots (square toed boots are in). Long sleeve button up shirt in solid colors or plaid, nothing too crazy unless you’re a professional because then you look like a wanna-be (and nobody likes a wanna-be). A leather belt with a buckle. Either plain leather or rhinestone studded ones are in right now for guys. And, for girls, belts with cowhide accents. Also, spurs and a hat unless you wear a helmet when you ride (highly recommended for beginners!!!). You can still wear a hat before and after you ride, straw hats in summer and felt in winter.
Naturally, we had to ask about protection for those precious man parts we love so much.
