Dear Baby Mommas,
So many changes! So much excitement and happiness! But what on earth do you wear? Well, we Wardrobe Wire girls have never been pregnant, but after asking around, we sure do know a lot of people who have been! So, we noted all their favorite lines and scoured the internet. We are here to rescue you (as always)! And believe it or not, we found some pretty cute stuff!
www.OlianMaternity.com and www.LilacMaternity.com have very cute stuff that is unique and original. You will not see every other pregnant girl wearing these clothes. It’s cute, trendy, and more boutique style clothing.
If you are staying in shape while pregnant, www.fit2bmom.com has great clothes for the future mom.
For the girl who loves her brand names, Ella Moss, Citizens of Humanity, Splendid, and C&C California maternity lines were all mentioned as favorites.
For the girl on a budget, Target, GapMaternity, and OldNavy Maternity carry great choices. Forever21 recently launched their maternity wear line, Love21.
Stores like A Pea in the Pod (www.apeadinthepod.com), Motherhood Maternity (www.motherhood.com), and Pickles and Ice Cream (www.picklesandicecream.com) carry multiple lines in one spot and make it easy shopping! Motherhood Maternity also carries Heidi Klum’s line called Loved. You can find one, if not all three, of these stores everywhere in the country (exceptions of course).
Pretty much every momma we talked to agreed that good maternity jeans are a must and are easy to sell or pass along when you’re done with them! The good news is that many people think baby bellies are sexy. Women now days are embracing their changing bodies and even showing them off. Some women may not gain much weight, thus they buy clothes that are just a little more loose fitting with hopes that they could possibly wear after pregnancy. Angelina Jolie, when pregnant, was often photographed in dresses from Rachel Pally that highlighted her baby bump.
