I recently had a guy ask me how to still look fresh when it’s raining. Well, first of all…dress for the weather. You look the worst when you are ill prepared. Invest in a raincoat and, if you are over the age of 25 and have a career, you should have a trench coat in your wardrobe. No, they are not “gay”. Stick with these basic colors – black, gray, navy, tan, or dark green. You will always look appropriate in any of those colors.
Carry an umbrella. Even if you don’t care if your hair gets wet, you should always be prepared to keep your girl warm and dry. Your umbrella and coat do not have to match as long as you stick with one of the five colors above.
Wear some boots…I have yet to see a men’s pair of rainboots that I really LOVE, but you can also just wear a rugged pair of leather boots that have been protected for the weather. Most importantly, we love a man who looks good but is still rugged and not afraid if he gets a little wet. We love him even more if he helps keep our pretty outfits perfectly intact.
