Monday, aka "Money Making Money", is the most crucial day of your week. The first day of the week sets the tone for the rest of the days, so don’t f**k it up! Never hit snooze on a Monday. Instead, wake up on time, or even a few minutes earlier than every other day of the week, to give your self a few extra minutes to soak in the shower (what exactly you do in the shower is none of my business). FYI, sleeping in is reserved for “ No Wakey Wednesday”.
You must get ready 100% on a Monday: Hair, make up, favorite fragrance, and a confidence building power suit or outfit. Above all, hit the road with a good attitude accompanied by a smile. Fake it if you must! No one wants to look at your grumpy pants first thing Monday morning.
On the walk from your car into the office, try to talk to as many people as time allows. Smile and say hi to a stranger, compliment someone’s outfit (but only if it is Wardrobe Wire Worthy), crack a joke, and be sure to wish the receptionist a good morning (no one likes a grouchy receptionist).
