Ahhh…who doesn’t love a good road trip?? Windows down, radio blaring, arms out the window, and all your hopes and dreams playing through your head. This is one time we’ll let you slide a little bit in the fashion department because comfort is key here! However, my loves, you should still do your hair, put on a fresh face, and leave the holey sweats and pajama pants at home. You never know what sexy man you could meet along the way. Hell, Thelma and Louise met Brad Pitt!!! So, now that you’ve put down your favorite sweats from five years ago, pull these items out of your closet: Leggings or a comfy pair of jeans, a super soft t-shirt, and a thin, long sleeved cardigan type top. Something that is easy to pull on and off while driving in case there is a change in temperature. Leave the heels at home, and opt for your favorite TOMS or flats. If it’s summer – you can always wear a cute and comfy sundress to let your skin glisten in the sun! Pack your lip gloss (can really come in handy if you need to woo someone into changing a flat tire) and items to quickly freshen up with like Evian Mineral Water Facial Spray. Baby wipes always come in handy to clean your skin after having your windows down all day. Don’t forget a hair tie, extra water, snacks, and music! No road trip is complete without a play list!
Safe travel tips: Just in case you get stranded in the middle of nowhere, make sure you have extra water in your car. Know where you are located in case you need to call for help. If you’re traveling in the winter, remember to always keep a blanket in your car and some hand and feet warmers, just in case you get stuck somewhere for hours! I also like to throw some magazines or a book in my car. I was once stuck in an ice storm for four hours and magazines definitely helped pass the time!! Being stranded and ill prepared is not the Wardrobe Wire way!
