what do I wear to a casual sat. brunch at a family members home
I have been invited to meet family members for the 1st time at their home for Sat. brunch. I am in my 40's and want to look stylish but not overdressed. the weather should be in the high 70's

Since it will be so nice out, I would recommend a sleeveless or short sleeve sheath dress or wrap dress. I've attached a few photos. I LOVE the red paisley dress for brunch! Whatever you choose, to keep it more casual, wear flats or some flat strappy sandals. Leave the heels at home.

You can never go wrong with your favorite little black dress and wear a blazer or cardigan over it to help keep you warm if it cools off later. Plus, that touch adds a little conservative feel to the dress and you can't go wrong with being conservative when meeting family members for the first time.I'd try to avoid jeans if at all possible. Slacks or a skirt with a blouse and scarf tied around your neck is another simple option.Tweed is a popular fabric come fall so if you have a tweed blazer.... wear it!
You'll look fabulous so don't fret too much or over think it. Just try and keep it simple in this case.
