Wardrobe Wire is always on the hunt for the latest and most intriguing trends of the season. Next up? The Armored Jean by Acne. An obvious inspiration from the days of medieval knights in their shining armor with polished plates on the thighs, knees and shins while the jackets have plates on the shoulders and elbows.
While we are big fans of Acne Jeans, is this style actually wearable more than once? One would obviously not throw them in the washer...hence, should we expect the drycleaners to say they will do it.... but then hand me the armored plates in a separate bag when they return the jeans? Who knows? But those armored knee guards sure will serve a good purpose when it comes to sexy time...ladies- but anyway we wouldn't be surprised to see Rhianna and all the half-shaved head fashionistas rock the look at least once!
