First introduced as a part of the Donna Karen Collection in the mid 80’s bodysuits are re-introduced to the millennium. Bodysuits have been spotted in many Spring 2010 designer labels. Designers such as Stella McCartney, Hermes, Tim Hamilton, and Alexander Wang are pairing bodysuits with flowing skirts, shorts, and a cropped pant. Spotted in the music video of Beyonce’s hit song “Single ladies” as well as in the performances of Lady Gaga and Rihanna, bodysuits defiantly fit the body right!
Knowing your body, flaws and all is important when making the style choice to wear a bodysuit because they cling to every curve of the body. Because bodysuits fit so closely to the body, they should be paired with a loose fitting pant, shirt or short.
