Want a great seasonal look? Well, I have found a trend that is perfect no matter the location, or season. Hoods! Now, I know some of you might say hoods? Really? But this trend has been seen all over the runways of many designers, in both Spring and Fall 2010 Collections. Celebs such as, Rachel Bilson, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Hayden Panettiere, and Kate Moss have all been spotted wearing hoods on dresses, coats, shirts, and jackets. Soon, you will be too!
With just a few tweaks here and there you can incorporate hoods into your wardrobe no matter the season. In the spring, a hooded dress is a perfect for a day of shopping with the girls. Paired with a big chunky necklace, layers of colorful bracelets and bangles, and brightly colored sandals, this is a great style choice for any woman. To wear this same dress in the Fall, all you need to remember is layers! Simply adding a pair of textured tights, ankle boots, and shirt layered underneath with a loose fitting jacket or coat, you will look runway ready!
For those who prefer not to wear a hood, you can create this look with a simple illusion of a scarf. Tying your scarf in the style of a Hijab is a perfect alternative. Designer label Wayne illustrates this look perfectly in their Fall 2010 collection (see gallery).
