The fashion industry is so over the recession thing…so many designers are bursting at the seams with luxurious goods after having to hold back the last few years. Exotic and luxury are coming in full force ahead! We saw it at the beginning of Fall with fur, feathers, and an abundance of leather! Now, python! Python is showing up on shoes, bags, jackets, accessories and in print on leggings, tights, tops, and dresses. Lanvin, Michael Kors, Chloe, Fendi, and Bottega Veneta all have products made with python. Don’t want the real thing? Stella McCartney, Michael Kors, and Roberto Cavalli all have python prints in their collections.
Python is an expensive investment, but python prints can be affordable. Labels such as MICHAEL Michael Kors and Jessica Simpson both offer python print or faux python accessories at affordable prices.
How to Wear Your Python: Just like any other exotic print, you don’t want to go overboard. I would suggest wearing one python piece of luxury at a time, unless they are accessories. If you are wearing a python/python print dress, jacket, pants, or skirt leave the python shoes, bag, and accessories in the closet. On the days you feel like wearing the accessories, pick one or two (For example: Pick the shoes & bracelets), keep the rest of your outfit python free.

Where to Shop: Any major department store. Barneys, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, etc…
