i work in an environment where there isn't room to dress up much, basically everyone wears scrubs, yeah like the TV show, what sort of accessories can add to my hospital gear to add flare without being to flashy or attracting too much attention, but something to help set me apart?

As I work in the same field, you could always spice up your everyday scrubs with a fun colored Littmann =)
because what you wear is so restricted you should focus in on your hair and makeup! get a style and color that both makes you pop and works with your features.
Well, not sure what the restrictions are for wearing jewelry, but that is where I would begin. Maybe a cute pair of studded earrings. Also, don't be afraid to touch up with a little makeup- if you generally do not wear it at work. You can keep it simple by touching up the brows, a little mineral powder, some blush, mascara and maybe even a lipstick shade that will make your mug POP a little more!
Perhaps even think of a necklace that is fairly fitted to the neck, thus not to hang and get in your way. Hmm... wonder what a little neck tie would look like with purple scrubs?!
