Heading to Seattle for a week! Want to get out of my norm laid back OC style and be a bit funky! Any hot ideas for the cold(er) and cloudy climate of the Pacific Northwest?

Think an updated, grown up version of grunge! Go ahead, be a little messy, girl! Mix fabrics, wear black and gray, but throw on one bright dose of color in a scarf or bag. You could pair some leggings with a skirt or shorts, pair it with a silk top, cashmere sweater, and a trench. I also LOVE chunky knits!! Throw a chunky knit oversized sweater with some jeggings and leather boots one day. And for the rain? Check out our detailed article on what to wear! http://tinyurl.com/2d8qvuq

Also, substitute your "Little black dress" for a "little white dress". A light leather cropped jacket would be perfect for Seattle, as well. Light leather ANYTHING is really in style, as a matter of fact. Buy a pair of saddle shoes while your at it!

I was about to say seersucker, but I then realized that is more OC than Pacific Northwest! I just recently purchased a pair of skinny cargo's by the brand: Rich and Skinny Pair them with some heels, a long white tee and toss a scarf around your neck. Funk it up by wearing a bunch of wrap bracelets. Check out the pants: http://www.richandskinnyjeans.com/Cargo_Legging__Aloe/pd/np/20/p/1075.html
