The Question

I am currently living in Phoenix, Arizona and I will be traveling to San Francisco this weekend. Part of my packing ritual is to, after checking the weather report, mentally lay out all clothing ideas and items that come to mind. Unfortunately, I have hit a fashionista speed bump. NoCal weather is currently calling for clothing items that are more appropriate for winter months and I literally have nothing to wear. The only ‘warm’ clothing/footwear items lingering in my bedroom are random RJ tops and a pair of brown leather boots, which by happenstance did not make it to the god-awful storage unit this summer. Before I commit, I need to know if it is a fashion faux pas to wear boots in the middle of summer. WW, please help.

The Destination

Francisco, San

The Note

San Francisco weather is in the low to mid 50's.

Definitely not a faux paus. Dressing weather appropriate regardless of the season is a fashion DO.

In a nutshell, it is NOT a faux paus. You will not look out of place. I asked some fashionista's in SF and they validated this. SF is pretty "fall like" year round and boots are seen year round. No dirty looks for you!
