p.s. sorry for so many typos.. we are still working on some glitches including how to edit after a post :).
Thank you, ladies! I am very excited to go shopping. What a relief it is to know what to look for. You made my night!
Also - I'm not sure where you are traveling FROM, but since you are heading to a warm destination, you could also consider a cute v-neck sundress (show off those pregnancy boobs!) with flats or slip on wedges. Remember to make it easy to slip off your shoulder if you are breastfeeding and you can pair it with a fitted cardigan sweater for when the pilot blasts that air conditioning.
Well, as my sister is sitting here with her 3-month old, she rattled off these helpful ideas! Definitely, NOT silk! The drool will not go well with a silk shirt. Leggings, jeans, or jeggings, and a cute v-neck cotton tee with a blazer. If you're really going for sass, keep it all fitted. Flats that are easy to slip off while going thru security. Skip the jewelry, it will be a major pain trying to get all that thru security while also pushing a stroller and holding a crying baby (especially if you're traveling alone!).
Now, that's not a question I don't get asked everyday... traveling + infant+ sassy!!! When flying, I try and keep it fairly low key because a.) you have to walk through a metal detector this you may want to avoid jewelry and even a belt. b.) you have to take off your shoes. I am very much a minimalist and would be even more so if traveling with an infant. SO, If I were you, I would probably sass my look up by how I do my hair and make-up, thus I could distract from my lack of sass in the outfit arena. Whatever you do PROMISE me that you will not wear a juicy couture sweatsuit ( or sweatpants in general)! That screams UNSASSY mommy!! Wear your favorite pair of jeans or black leggings that make your rear look great and won't show your crack when you sit down. Remember that it gets cold on the airplane so maybe wear your favorite button up that you can roll up the sleeves, and unbutton it enough to show your cleavage ( maybe even wear a lace bra underneath it so it peaks out when you reach for your baby or luggage)! Women were given boobs for more reasons than just breast feeding.... work it, own it! OR wear a boyfriend sweater that shows your cleavage and pair it with ballet slippers and a scarf. Make your lips moist with gloss and hair down. feel free to lean over a lot so that lace bra teases anyone and everyone within looking distance.
