By definition, “casual” means personal comfort. However do not let that be an open invitation to wear your PJ’s, sweat pants, sloppy t-shirt, or dirty and/or stained pants or jeans. Casual comfort does not mean that it is ok to dress how you’d dress at home, sitting on the couch, while watching TV. Yes, be comfortable, but also be presentable and respectable. Otherwise, your host and/or hostess may never invite you to a gathering again.
