I am looking for a casual sneaker and I can't decide between these two Ellesse Alchemy's and this pair of Fila Rossi Perf's

I have an an outside sales job and although I am not required to wear a suit, I am expected to were nice slacks and button up shirt (not polo's or golf shirts). I just realized most of my slacks have pleats. I have heard that they are no longer in style. Do I now need to replace my work slacks?
