Hot Off The Wire

My Birthday List Part 1

My birthday is coming up, Saturday May 18th, so I thought I'd make things easy on you by providing you with my birthday wish list. Someone needs to spoil me and it may as well be you!

I recently stayed at The Resort at Pelican Hill and I fell in LOVE with the body lotion they provide in the room. It smells so good. I want to feel like silk and smell like a spa 24/7 and for just $18.00 you can be an aid for my cause.

No one ever confused me for Betty Crocker, but a girl gotta eat and this girl is sick of dropping her own money on fine dining all the time (I'm very picky). I need to eat healthier and in the comfort of my own home from time to time. What better way to help me get healthy, and save a buck, than by providing me with at home delivery of meals from Freshology. Depending on what your budget currently allows, I'll take either the 14 or 20 day program.

My friend is getting married at the end of June and there may be a potential suitor or two in attendance for me. Plus, I need to represent her well by looking good. I need a dress. I haven't found anything I'm crazy about, but I kind of want to go with a baby blue or mint green color. Below are just some ideas so you know what direction I'm leading towards.

Diane Von Furstenberg Zarita lace dress

Badgley Mischka beaded-neck cocktail dress

Tadashi Shoji lace peplum cocktail dress

Tadashi Shoji cap-sleeve lace-overlay cocktail dress

I need a pair of Brian Atwood shoes and these would look DELICIOUS on me. They are on sale so get 'em while they're hot!

To be continued...

Silk "Track" Pants

I recently purchased these Parker silk pants (in black though) and they have been my go-to ever since. I can wear them to the office with a cami, scarf and blazer, and then take it all off (except the cami as I'm not an exhibitionist) for post work shennanigans. They are comfortable, casual, yet dressy enough to look a notch above the rest of the causal Friday crew. Wardrobe Wire girls always like to step it up at least ONE notch.

Go shopping! Silk is soft to the touch.

Vince $295.00

Eileen Fisher $228.00

3.1 Phillip Lim $375.00

Parker $99.99 (get them while they last at this price)

Parker $198.00

As Ever,

Paige

Pink Purse Power

Have you missed me? I've missed you! Every now and then a girl gets summoned to give advice on such things like the colonization of Mars so I have to neglect you from time to time. Hopefully, you all have the toll free help line programmed in your phones in case the withdrawal symptoms become unbearable.

I'm in the market for a new clutch and I have my eye on this pink Valentino clutch. I'm not really a pink wearing kind of girl, but I might change that this spring.

Be a Modern and Smart Bond Girl

The HOlidaze are officially over and it is time to get back to work. I don't know about you, but I'm excited because I want to make money because I've overgrown flying in coach.

Need to go shopping to get some tools for success? Me too! I'm going to just toss some ideas out there and if any of my secret admirers are reading this...money, and showering me with gifts, CAN buy me love. PLUS, everything you are contributing to the Paige Rolfe Foundation for a Fancier Future will help me become a more successful person thus enabling you to go into early retirement once we get married.

Santa Forgot Something...

I DESPERATELY need a black tote that I can use everyday, has room in it to fit a notepad and documents without them getting bent, and could also nightline as a carry-on piece when traveling.  Shockingly, my taste doesn't fit in my budget.  If it did, I would most likely purchase both a document holder and bag from either Valextra or Smythson.  Santa has apparently become a vegan so no leather goods were found under my tree this year.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?!  It means that I'm going to have to go shopping for myself and be a little realistic while doing so.  Reality bites.
