Paige's weird story of the day: I received a text message from my mom (who lives in Arizona) today saying that a British journalist called her house looking for me and thought she might want to contribute an article or something. I think nothing of it and go to pick up my dry cleaning. While waiting on it, something came on the tv there talking about Prince Harry and I say to the dry cleaner guy, "Prince Harry is my favorite royal. He likes to party." I continue my errand running and my roommate sends me a text message saying that she just got a call from some Brit to get beeped into our apartment because she was looking for me. My roommate assumed it was a friend and let her in. I informed my roommate that I'm not even home and have no clue who this person might be.
When I got home there was a letter under my door addressed to me, but with no return address. Naturally, I assume it is fan mail or from a secret admirer and I open it. The letter was from the same woman who had called my mom earlier. She states that she is a British journalist based in Los Angeles and that she is writing a feature that she hopes I can help her out with. Out of curiosity, I call her back. The woman tells me that she was sent an email with my name, background and told that I planned the event that Prince Harry attended in Las Vegas last weekend. After I told her that she had the wrong person, she continued to go on about all these details she knew about me and read the email that was forwarded to her including information about Wardrobe Wire and Be Stirred. She even described my Facebook profile picture.
She then goes on to say that I'm good friends with Steve Wynn (owner of Wynn hotels). I have never met Steve Wynn nor Prince Harry and if I had I would brag to all of you about it! I would LOVE to plan a party for Prince Harry so if there is another Paige Rolfe out there that does this for him.... let's team up. Wink.
ps I did feel like someone was spying on me yesterday...
